High up on the south-western
slopes of the Simonsberg Mountains, named after Governor
Simon van der Stel, you can find the land known as Drie Sprong.
It was home to a Dutch East India Company
servant, whose job it was to fire a cannon from the peak
directly above the property, appropriately named Kanonkop.
This cannon was the third in a relay from Cape Town, via
Koeberg, signaling the arrival of any foreign vessels in
Table Bay

Tastings:
We welcome visitors throughout the year to taste our wines
at leisure in the atmospheric "Downstairs" cellar, with its
famous cobwebbed window. If you are looking for something
extra special, ask the tasting room staff to show you to the
little-known "Collector’s Corner" at the back.
